Ordering Publications From the Assemblée nationale
Customers are urged to read the following information before ordering publications from the Assemblée nationale.
Processing and Payment
Orders are processed by the Assemblée nationale once payment is received. Payment must be sent by mail to the following address:

Payment must be made by cheque or money order made out to the Minister of Finance of Québec.
Goods and Services Tax and Québec Sales Tax
The 5% Canadian goods and services tax (GST) and 9.975% Québec sales tax (QST) are added to the price of each item. The QST does not apply to items with an ISBN (the number that identifies books and publications).
Items Delivered Elsewhere in Canada
- New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador: A single tax of 13% is added to taxable sales under an agreement between the governments of these three provinces and the federal government
- Other provinces and territories: Only the 5% GST is added to the selling price
Items Delivered Outside Canada
Items delivered outside Canada are not subject to Québec or Canadian sales taxes.

Shipping and Handling Charges
A $5 shipping and handling fee is added to orders delivered both inside Canada and outside Canada.
Delivery
Purchases are delivered by Canada Post. Customers may choose another courier but must assume any additional costs.
Please allow one week after receipt of payment for delivery in Québec or Canada. Delivery times outside Canada vary according to the destination.
Confidentiality
All information provided when ordering (name, address, credit card number) is confidential and will be used solely for delivery purposes.

Returns
Purchases may be returned within 30 days of delivery, unless the item was damaged by the buyer.

Conditions
- The item must be returned with a copy of the receipt or delivery slip.
- The buyer assumes both the cost and risk of shipping the item, unless an incorrect or damaged item was delivered, in which case
- the Assemblée assumes the cost and risk of shipping, provided the item is returned via a delivery service that offers insurance against loss and damage
- the Assemblée will send the buyer a new copy of the publication
