A Brief History
The National Assembly of Québec maintains relations with US elected representatives by participating in the activities of the following interparliamentary organizations:
As an affiliated international member, the Assembly participates in annual meetings, executive committee meetings and other committee meetings, all of which give Québec an opportunity to promote its interests.
Of the themes taken up by the CSG and the NCSL, the Assembly is particularly interested in transborder, trade, energy, environmental, transportation and agricultural issues. It also takes part in annual meetings on agriculture and the protection of the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence River.
